Refurbishing Process
We want to make sure that your game not only plays great, but looks
great also! All of our classic games are thoroughly refurbished
using the following process:
Pinball Games
Step 1 The playfield
is thoroughly cleaned and waxed using Novus #2.
Step 2 All ramps
are cleaned and polished.
Step 3 All light
bulbs are checked and replaced as necessary.
Step 4 New rubber
is installed on the playfield, flippers, slingshots, etc.
Step 5 All printed
circuit boards are checked.
Step 6 Cabinet is
cleaned on the outside and vacuumed on the inside.
Step 7 Backglass
cleaned inside and out.
Step 8 Game and machine
components are thoroughly play tested to make sure it functions
accordingly to original factory specifications.
Video Games
Step 1 Each monitor
is thoroughly checked, and new transistors, capacitors, etc. are
replaced as necessary.
Step 2 Monitor is
checked for correct brightness level and degaussed.
Step 3 All printed
circuit boards and electronics are fully tested.
Step 4 All contact
switches are cleaned, adjusted and replaced if necessary.
Step 5 All joysticks,
rollerballs, controls, etc. are cleaned, adjusted and rebuilt or
replaced if necessary.
Step 6 Cabinet exterior
is cleaned and detailed.
Step 7 Each game
is “burned in” for several hours. This is done to make
sure the game
is working properly
*Note – Some classic games such as Ms. Pacman,
Donkey Kong, etc. have new artwork available. While every game is
refurbished using the above process, we can make your game look
almost new by installing new control panel overlays, monitor underlays,
